Pushing the Envelope soundtrack release.Soundtrack CD Release Party to be held in AustinAUSTIN, Texas--February, 9, 2001-- Twin Triangle will hold a CD release party in Austin, Texas at the independent record store, Thirty Three Degrees (4017 Guadalupe) on Saturday, February 17, 2001, from 6pm to 7pm CST for the release of the score to the film, "Pushing the Envelope". Craig McGonagill will perform a live Deconstruction of the soundtrack by manipulating raw elements from the score. Loops and effects will be added to create an alternate live mix of the soundtrack. Two video monitors will provide information about the film. The 22-track electronic/ambient CD will be available for purchase that evening at Thirty Three Degrees, from independent record stores and directly from the Pushing the Envelope website. The music for Pushing the Envelope was composed and performed by filmmaker Dorian Ramirez, and Craig McGonagill who served as sound recordist and portrays "Greg Hall" in the film. Two tracks on the soundtrack are from the upcoming full length album "Time Based Space" from ATACTIC. "Time Based Space" will be available on the Twin Triangle label in late March 2001. Pushing the Envelope is an independent film produced in Austin. The surreal thriller revolves around the life of a contract killer involved in an internet relationship.
